Hey y’all it’s been a while since I shared a diy post so I thought why not…….

This time I made my dungaree from an old oversized men’s white shirt along with left over black material from another diy project, Anyways since I just love art so much I decided to add a little touch of art to my diys. And the results were great (the little black words or letters popping in parts of the dress)

Nb I used permanent black markers to write or simply mark the dress,

Above I’ve provided a link to the original post on Instagram you can view and like it there

Next time I’ll make sure to add the steps to making a diy dungaree project at home.

DIY dungaree dress from old denim pants

Hello everyone πŸ‘‹

When I started this blog I mentioned something about crafts, skills and DIY things , so today I decided to finally post that post about crafts. And I chose upcycling old denims to be the main focus of the post

So here it is.

Denim trouser
Take a seam reaper and reap the seams of the inside parts of the denim apart so that you get something like the image below.
You should get something like this when you are done with the seam reaper.
Cut to you suitable height

THE FRONT PART OF THE DUNGAREE

Draw your upper body shape on the denim to get the desired shape. Cut according to the lines and leave a 5cm allowance for sewing
Assembly the pins following the shape you drew and you should get something like this.
On the inside it should be like this
Fold the upper part following the lines you drew or the pins you put.

THE BACK PART OF THE DUNGAREE

Draw the lines of the shape of your desired back part of your dungaree like this
Cut and leave 2-3cm sewing allowance

Final product
